You must be 21 years old to purchase firearms and ammo. However you can attend our firearm safety training class at any age.
A valid Florida state ID or Driver's License to prove Florida residency and a form of payment. If you also own a CWFL, bring it as well. If you are a Florida resident but do not currently have an ID showing current residency, contact the store for other potential options that you can use to be able to make a purchase.

No. Most items on our full catalog must be shipped from one of several distributors. If something is available in-store, most of the time the item will display below the price info where it is located. For any inventory related questions, feel free to contact the relevent store! Also note that not all store items may appear online. This is especially true for ammunition.
Guns are not designed to be gender-specific. Irregardless of sex, if you are going to be a first time gun-owner, we always recommend handling a few different guns in-person to see what feels right.
If it's an online purchase or a transfer arriving here, wait for us to contact you. When it arrives, you can then complete the background check at the shop. You'll be able to pick up your firearm after three business days from when you gave payment granted that you passed the background check and the store is open. CWFL holders can typically take their firearm or receiver the day of.

Currently we cannot give a confident answer as to when your item(s) may arrive from our distributers and arrival will depend on a number of factors. On average it's typically taking from one week to a few weeks. You may receive a tracking email if you ordered a non-serialized item, but it's not necessarily ready to be picked up until we contact you. In-store pickup orders are free but generally take longer to arrive than standard shipping orders.
Yes. There are two ways you can obtain these items. We highly recommend you call a staff member at (727) 304-4443 or email us to assist you in choosing and purchasing your silencer(s) / suppressor(s).
Once one of these two steps are complete, bring the signed ATF Form 4’s, fingerprints and passport photos back to Mad Dog Armory, where you will fill out a “Certification of Compliance with 18 USC 922 (g)(5)(B)” and pay the $200 transfer tax. Mad Dog Armory will mail the completed package to the ATFE. This process can take a first time applicant anywhere from 30-60 days to get their first transfer approved. Upon approval, We will contact you to come pick up your chosen silencer(s) / suppressor(s). You’ll then fill out an ATFE Form 4473, just like you would any firearm, and be on your way!
Yes, this is possible. Basically your state must allow the purchasing and ownership of full auto firearms under certain circumstances first and foremust, which Florida allows. The full auto (or NFA) firearm in quesion must also be made prior to 1986 due to the Firearm Owners Protection Act. Then the rest of the process process is similar to purchasing a suppressor. But for more information, please speak to a salesperson if you are interested in purchasing a full auto firearm.

If you have not applied for the permit yet, you can check the requirements here. Typically it can take about two months to receive the permit. You can check on the FDACS website here for the status of your application once it is mailed and received.
The vast majority of them come back approved; but there's no way to know before actually going through a check. Unfortunately we (or any FFL dealer) has no control over this and we are not given any other information other than the status. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement processes all background checks and the status can come back not approved or take longer to process for one reason or another.
