The Owner
JILLIAN BILTZ - Founder and CEO
Jillian is an USCCA and NRA Certified Pistol Instructor and Range Safety Officer. She did not grow up around guns and was frightened of them when she moved to Florida. After experiencing a frightening moment, she decided to learn how to use and handle a firearm and fell in love with all aspects of the industry. In seeing a need for a modern, clean, friendly neighborhood shop, Jillian opened her first store in 2016, Mad Dog Armory in Largo, Florida. Her dream to help remove the stigma about firearms and educate her community was underway. Her passion and energy combined with customer satisfaction business model allowed her to add 2 additional locations to open, in 2021 the S Tampa location opened on W Kennedy Blvd and the newest addition in East Tampalocated on US HWY 301 N. Her shops are welcoming and her amazing staff is made up of friendly, patient, and knowledgeble professionals that look forward to meeting you.
She empowers her clients and students by providing them with the skills and confidence needed to own and use firearms, while having fun! Mad Dog Armory Largo & S Tampa have both won BEST GUNS SHOPS in 2025 & 2026 voted in based on Google Reviews and Customer Satisfaction. When she's not in the shop, Jillian enjoys boating, football, and spending time with close and friends.

LARGO
Our Largo store, located off the corner of Seminole Blvd and Walsingham Rd, is the first and original store we opened back in 2016. With an emphasis on education, we have had hundreds of people partake in our training and enjoying our products & services. This store features a SilencerShop kiosk, on-site gunsmithing, off-site engraving and Cerakoting, firearms, and many options for various parts and accessories.
SOUTH TAMPA
To better serve South Tampa Bay residents, we decided to open a store off of W Kennedy Blvd and S Habana Ave. It officially opened on May 4th, 2021 and features much of the same great products as the Largo store but with additional space to accommodate more products and greater variety. Classes and on-site gunsmithing are also available here as well as access to our off-site services. You'll find the atmosphere to be relaxed and enjoyable while we work to provide the right products and information that you're looking for.
EAST TAMPA
To better serve East Tampa Bay residents, we decided to open a store off of US 301 N. It officially opened on May 12th, 2026 and features much of the same great products as the Largo & South Tampa Locations. Classes and on-site gunsmithing are also available here as well as access to our off-site services. You'll find the atmosphere to be relaxed and enjoyable while we work to provide the right products and information that you're looking for.
